Dr. Fahd Solaiman Aldohish

President and CEO
The CEO and co-founder of SNAM Automotive Industries, a position he has held since 2010. He is leading the development of the automotive manufacturing sector in Saudi Arabia by establishing the first passenger vehicle assembly plant using the SKD/CKD model, with plans to expand toward full-scale manufacturing (FSM). He has extensive experience in the automotive industry, having worked with global companies such as Nissan, Toyota, Peterbilt, and Komatsu, where he contributed to product development and supply chain management. He holds a Ph.D. in Automotive Manufacturing from Vanderbilt University and two master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. Dr. Aldohish currently serves as the Chairman of the Automotive Manufacturing Team at the National Industrial Committee and is a member of the Industrial Council at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. He has also worked as a consultant at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and as the Director General of Strategic Partnerships at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). He has contributed to academic research in quality management and supply chain optimization and has participated in international organizations and conferences, including the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and the Saudi Quality Committee (SQC).

A specialist in project management and operations with over 29 years of experience in enhancing productivity and efficiency in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently leading a $350 million automotive plant project in Saudi Arabia in partnership with KGM Motors. Proven track record in executing greenfield and expansion projects, managing multi-million-dollar investments for Caterpillar and BMW. Expert in implementing advanced manufacturing techniques and quality improvement using Six Sigma and ISO standards. Proficient in environmental, health, and safety compliance with extensive experience in industrial process planning. Led large teams of engineers and technicians, successfully optimizing plant efficiency and driving growth strategies. International experience overseeing projects in India, Thailand, China, Indonesia, and Australia. Spearheaded the launch of new vehicle models at BMW, achieving top quality and efficiency results. Specializes in production process development, resource planning, and cost management to enhance operational performance. Attended advanced training in operations management and supply chain from global institutions like Harvard and Caterpillar.
