Our Story
SNAM is a success story woven with threads of hope! The story of a dream that lived in the imagination of its founder for an entire life, a dream with roots and a deep-rooted relationship that extends back to the history of his childhood. He began to crystallize it and draw its plans during his first visit to a car factory in the United States while studying industrial engineering, specifically when the professor asked him: "Why is there no car factory in Saudi Arabia?!" A question that aroused his enthusiasm and planted in his heart the ambition to build a factory on the land of his overwhelming love, the land of his generous homeland, the land of construction, progress and competition for everything new! He began his steadfast path to answer this question, until he finished his studies for his master's and doctorate while watching that dream grow in his imagination. Many of those who heard from him saw it as an impossible project; because cars fill the place and there is no need for a factory for them! But he never rode a car without saying to his sons: "You will ride a car manufactured here in my homeland! A car with an Arab name from the middle of the Najd desert!" Years passed and he saw names of imaginary ideas for the car industry crumbling before him, and despite the distance of his goal, his determination was closer, so he challenged obstacles and difficulties, and suffered from the hurricanes that swept away his dream and destroyed his project, but he returned - every time - rising with his dream, relying on his Lord, trusting in his government, and believing in the capabilities of his country! And here is SNAM - after many, many stories of struggle - today revealing her beautiful face, whose beauty is sensed by a group of ambitious partners who believe in achieving it! Here is SNAM, a real phenomenon. Here are its cars, brides, caressing the winds of the beautiful city of Jubail. Here is the factory, towering and shining, joining the glittering chain of factories. The dream was made by the hands of the sons of this country. They built its walls and corridors, received its equipment and tools, and continued day and night to see SNAM’s cars roaming the roads. They sleep and wake up to the dream of opening the factory, which has become a reality - thanks to Allah Subhanawata'ala - here is the dream, my country, fulfilled, just as many ambitions have been fulfilled in light of the vision of goodness and development, the vision of progress and giving.
